Cedar Tree had been teaching students in rented facilities for nearly a decade before it moved onto its own property in September 2008. Viewed as a gift provided by the Lord, this beautiful, spacious campus helps fulfill our mission of serving students and families.
The vision for Cedar Tree’s current campus was born in 2005 with a listing of desired components of property and facility. The school reviewed various properties throughout Clark County, eventually locating a 15-acre parcel near the County Fairgrounds in 2006, and purchased the property in 2007 upon receiving approval from the County. After a fast-paced construction project was completed just in time for the beginning of school in September 2008, Cedar Tree quickly and gratefully settled into its new location.
In the ongoing efforts to support our mission, other facility enhancements have included additional classroom buildings in 2009 and 2013. Play fields were added in 2012, and a half-mile running track in 2014. A covered play area with basketball hoops was completed in 2017. In 2018, the school acquired the adjacent property to the south for increased campus space, expanded play fields, and additional buffer.
The addition of a new 6,400-square-foot assembly building was completed in February 2021.
